Ecology, function, and aesthetics are the primary principles that underlie Susan's design work and guide her design process.

 

She has several years experience in project management and horticultural/ agricultural production and this interdisciplinary background informs her work at InSite. Susan contributes to a diverse array of private and public projects, including Detroit's Oudolf Garden, Veridian at County Farm Park and Hight Point School in Ann Arbor, and the Bailey Park Project in Detroit's McDougall Hunt neighborhood.
