618 S. Main​

618 S. Main is a unique new apartment building that brought life back to an empty parcel on Main Street.  InSite was charged with designing an outdoor amenity area, a complex green infrastructure system, and streetscapes along the three adjacent streets.

 

Sustainability was a priority for the site and the stormwater system was designed to capture the 100-year storm through a series of green roofs and rain gardens.  The site is packed with plants, which soak up water in the rain gardens and soften the streetscapes surrounding the building.
