Traverwood District Library​

InSite worked with the Ann Arbor District Library to develop ecologically sensitive landscapes for three new branch library buildings: Mallets Creek, Pittsfield, and Traverwood. The designs integrate innovative stormwater techniques that enhance infiltration and evapotranspiration throughout the sites and protect nearby streams and wetlands.  InSite developed a range of sustainable site design strategies, from parking lot bioswales  to bioretention cells and rain gardens that showcase prairie plantings throughout the seasons.
